In 2003 at an agility seminar, a nationally known trainer loudly proclaimed to Lori, “You run like a girl!”. As a personal trainer, this statement was a little hard to bear. While Lori’s regular routine of running, stretching, and yoga was beneficial in many areas of her life, dog agility wasn’t one of them. She tapped into her resources as a fitness professional of 25 years and developed a training program specific to the demands of dog agility. Human Agility Training (or HAT as it is known in Denver) was born. After two successful years of classes several times a week, and many students observing lowered course times as a result of classes, Lori and her husband Don produced the first in a series of HAT DVDs.
